This a great park 3/4 of a mile off of I-95. We called at 9:00 pm. and the park manager met us when we pulled in to show us a site. He helped me with the hookups and showed me how to get out in the morning. I am not sure about the lake amenities but overall I could not beat the price and convince to I-95.
Great park in the woods near Washington DC. Lot's of room for TT, 5'rs, or MH's. The only drawback is the noise from the shooting range and I-66 nearby. This park should be a great place on a hot summer day with the water park at the campground entrance. The DC Metro is 15 minutes away. There is alot of shopping within minutes for whatever you need. If I was visiting DC from the south or west side of town I would stay here.
We stayed here to visit relatives. This campground is best suited for families with TT,pop-ups, or 5th wheels. Out 38 foot MH was a little tight getting in and out. The spots were not the most level and the dirt looked very unsteady should this campground get alot of rain. The staff seemed very concerned about gate security and was otherwise friendly.
We stayed here twice coming and going from Nova Scotia. Great place for senior citizens. This is an adult park but they accomadated us and our children because we were only staying one night. We arrived after 9:30pm both times and the staff stayed out ready to take us to our site. The sites were good for pull throughs and reasonbly level. The staff was very friendly. Use Dysarts at the interstate for gas at Exit 180. They have full service at the best gas prices we found in Maine.
We stayed here one night. This park has easy access to I-295 in Southern New Jersey. It looked clean, the sites were level, and it was easy to get in and out. Great location, and friendly staff.
Great location if you want to be in the park. The park was very quiet. The office described our site as pull through but it was not. The RV sites with full hook up face the huge maintenance facility for the Cape Breton park. Not the best of views. The hiking nearby was very good. Overall a very peaceful place and we would stay here again if in the area.
The office staff was helpful getting us a reservation on short notice. Unfortunately we arrived while night watchman/check in person was making rounds. We had to wait for 25 minutes to check in. He gave us a rate of $40 instead of the $56 we were originally quoted. Sites we're not the most level. This looks like a good clean park to stay in while you visit DC.
